When are Loyal City Lodge’s meetings?
Our meetings are on the first Thursday of January, February, March, April, October, November and December. At 6pm for all meetings except October, which starts at 5pm
What do you do at the meetings. We carry out official Lodge business, including bringing in new members, updating members on any news and communications, making proposals for charity donations and occasionally celebrating milestone for Masonic careers. We then have a few drinks and have a formal dinner (usually 3 courses) and have an opportunity to chat with the other members. We often go out for a few sociable drinks afterwards as well.
How much does all this cost?
Freemasons are focused on building themselves as people of integrity, and membership provides the structure to help achieve that goal. Being a Freemason gives members a sense of purpose, supporting and guiding them on their journey through life. Collectively, members are bonded through an understanding of unity and equitability – principles fundamental to Freemasonry.
Do I have to go to all of these meetings?
You don’t have to go too all of the meetings. All Freemasons will say that Family and Work come first, but like all things, you get out what you put in, so the more you do attend, the more enjoyment you will get.
